CinEast & the Czech Embassy in Luxembourg are honoured to present a special charity screening of the film "WAR CORRESPONDENT" by David Čálek and Benjamin Tuček.
The screening (OV with English subtitles) will take place on Tue, 29 April at 19.00 at Ciné Utopia. This film takes us to the heart of the war in Ukraine and the daily work of a war reporter.
Charity: 100% of the benefits from the tickets will be transferred to the CinEast4Ukraine charity project.

SPECIAL GUESTS: The screening will be followed by a debate with the protagonist, the war reporter Martin Dorazín, arriving directly from Odessa, the producer of the film Václav Flegl, the reporter Michael Merten and further participants. The discussion about the film, the work of a war reporter and the current situation in Ukraine will be moderated by the journalist Philippe Schockweiler.
The documentary provides an insight into the life and work of one of the Czech Republic’s most experienced war reporters, Martin Dorazín.
This engaging film tells the stories of people directly affected by the war, offers a view of the current conflict in Ukraine and highlights the wider context of the war and the importance of conflict reporting in general.
